AIRBUS A320 FSTD

A320 Evolution

Large Jet Multi-Engine (MEJ) Types based on A320: This device is certified as FNPTII/MCC and provides training for large Jet multi-engine aircraft, such as the Airbus A320.

Courses / Training Capabilities

  • Threat and Error Management (TEM) Training: TEM training programs are designed to help pilots develop their skills in identifying and managing threats and errors that can occur during flight. FSTDs provide a safe and controlled environment to practice TEM techniques, including communication, situation awareness, and decision-making skills.

  • Crew Resource Management (CRM) Training: CRM training programs are designed to help pilots develop their communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. FSTDs provide a safe and controlled environment to practice CRM techniques, including communication, situation awareness, and team-working skills.

  • APS MCC Training: Airline Pilot Standard (APS) Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training programs are designed to help prepare pilots for the demands of working in a multi-crew environment. Its goal is to give the mindset that is necessary to fly faster, larger, heavier, and more complex aircraft including Jet Orientation Course (JOC). Our A320 FSTD provide a safe and controlled environment to practice communication, teamwork, and leadership skills and is specifically designed to include elements in the training for easier A320 type rating preparation.

  • Familiarization Flights: Familiarization flights are designed to help pilots become familiar with the aircraft and its systems. FSTDs provide a safe and controlled environment to practice flying techniques, aircraft systems, and emergency procedures.

  • Assessment Preparation for Airlines: Assessment preparation programs are designed to help pilots prepare for airline assessment and selection processes. FSTDs provide a safe and controlled environment to practice flying skills, aircraft systems, and communication techniques.

  • Type Rating Preparation: Type rating preparation programs are designed to help pilots prepare for the specific requirements of flying a particular type of aircraft. The A320 Type Rating preparation program is available for those who aim to obtain an A320 Type Rating. The FSTD provides a realistic and immersive training environment, allowing pilots to practice their flying skills, aircraft systems knowledge, and emergency procedures. The program covers all essential elements required for the A320 Type Rating, including normal, non-normal and emergency procedures, systems and performance training, and flight training in the FSTD. This will help the pilots become familiar with the aircraft and its systems, which will aid them in obtaining the Type Rating.
